Working Student (m/f/x) for the development of power electronics

Hours: 15-40 h/week

TASKS:

  • Team-oriented, innovative development support: Collaboration in the development of (digital) power supplies, co-design and support the entire development process in close cooperation with colleagues
  • Development-related (electrical/thermal/EMC) tests: Depending on your interests and skills, you will support:
    • Circuit design, component design and qualification, simulation, laboratory testing
    • Hardware-related programming of digitally controlled switching power supplies
  • Creation of technical documentation: Gathering information, documenting standards and processes, writing relevant texts, creating graphic illustrations, checking and validating documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ongoing technical studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar.
  • Successfully completed technical bachelor's degree (electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar) is an advantage.
  • Confident handling of measurement system equipment in the laboratory environment (e.g. oscilloscope etc.).
  • Very good understanding of electrical engineering and a high level of interest in this area.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic circuit development, EMC-compliant design and electromechanical systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with simulation, PCB design and CAD programs (MATLAB, Spice, SolidWorks etc.) is an advantage.
  • Experience in hardware-related programming (C) is an advantage.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • High degree of initiative and commitment as well as strong team spirit.

Employment information: The market-conform, attractive and performance-related salary for this position is determined from the minimum salary that must be announced in Austria of € 2.900 per month on a full-time basis (i.e. 40 hours per week). Overpayment based on qualifications and professional experience is possible.
