TASKS:
- Implementation of new sourcing strategies within the electronics material group “passive components” with focus on magnetics
- Initiation of supplier selection processes and leading selection project within a global cross functional team
- Creation and development of a preferred suppliers pool for our global R&D teams to meet cost-, quality- and performance-targets and risk management goals
- Negotiation of prices and logistics agreements as well as global contracts for our global manufacturing network
- Supplier Management and Qualification: forecasting & demand planning, monitoring and reporting (supplier assessment) as well as supplier development
- Responsibility for meeting price, quality and performance goals of the material group
- Close cooperation with strategic purchasing for planning and forecasting, as well as cost down purpose
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed commercial or technical education
- Several years’ experience in the electronic supply chain industry, preferably already with lead buyer tasks
- Very good English in spoken and written, German and Chinese advantageous
- Team minded and open to work in global cross functional teams
- High travel readiness

Employment Information: The market-conform, attractive and performance-related salary for this position is determined from the minimum salary that must be announced in Austria of € 40.600 per year on a full-time basis and from a significant overpayment depending on qualifications and professional experience.,
