AC/DC Power Supplies

RECOM’s on-board (PCB Mount) and off-board (chassis-mount) AC/DC power supplies are designed to meet the latest power supply requirements. The company understands that today’s AC/DC converters must be safe, cost-effective, energy efficient, reliable and significantly smaller than earlier models. By leveraging the latest advances in switching controllers, topologies, and components, RECOM delivers power supplies with up to twice the power density of previous generations — without compromising safety, reliability, efficiency, or performance.

The majority of RECOM’s on-board and off-board AC/DC power supplies operate from a nominal input range of 100VAC to 277VAC for global use and carry international safety certifications to UL, IEC, and EN standards, including CB Reports. A strong emphasis is placed on no-load and light-load efficiency in all new designs to meet the latest regulatory requirements and support energy savings in applications that automatically switch to standby mode. As a result, RECOM’s AC/DC converters are engineered to maintain high efficiency across the entire load range — from full load through light load down to no-load conditions.

The extensive range of 1W to 1200W AC to DC converters offers high power density, a minimum of 3kVAC isolation and wide temperature operating ranges. They are also internationally certified, Class B EMC compliant and cost-effective.
