We use the latest advances in switching controllers, topologies and components to create power supplies with double the power density than previously possible without sacrificing safety, reliability, efficiency or performance. The majority of our on-board and off-board AC/DC power supplies operate from nominal 100 VAC up to 277 VAC supplies for use worldwide and are internationally safety certified to UL/IEC/EN standards, with CB Reports.
In particular, we focus on no-load and light-load efficiency in all of our new designs. This is not just to meet the latest regulatory requirements but also because we understand that saving energy is important to our customers as many applications switch automatically into standby to reduce the power consumption. Therefore, the AC/DC converter has to operate efficiently over the entire load range from full load and light load, down to no-load conditions.
