2005년 R-78 의 개발을 시작했을 때부터 우리는 이 제품에 대한 엄청난 잠재적인 수요가 있음을 알았습니다. 그 이유는 97% 까지의 효율을 가지고 있고, 방열판이 필요없으며, 기존의 효율이 낮은 리니어 레귤레이터와 완벽히 핀이 호환되므로 회로의 변경없이도 쉽게 적용이 가능했기 때문입니다. 수년간 당사의 R-78 포트폴리오는 공간을 적게 차지하는 SIP3 디자인을 유지하면서도 최대 100V까지의 높은 입력 전압을 받을 수 있고, 더 많은 출력 전류(최대 2A)를 처리할 수 있도록 점진적으로 확장되었습니다.

얼마 전부터 여러 경쟁업체가 R-78 시리즈를 복제해서 판매하기 시작했습니다. 특히 가격을 낮춘 복제품이 많이 공급되면서 품질 문제가 나타나고 결과적으로 많은 기업들이 손해를 보는 일이 발생하게 되었습니다. 게다가 최근들어 RECOM 로고를 거짓으로 인쇄한 제품까지 증가함에 따라 우리는 중국에서 리콤 브랜드 보호를받기 위한 작업을 신속히 진행하게 되었습니다.

컨버터 기술 발전은 중단되지 않아야 하므로, 리콤에서는 비교할 수 없을 정도로 높은 전력 밀도를 갖추고 높이가 낮은 DOSA 풋프린트의 RPM 전력 모듈, 1.0V – 5.5V 감지 출력 보다 ≤ 또는 ≥ 입력을 받을 수 있는 RBB10 벅/부스트 컨버터와 같은 제품군에 새롭게 추가시키고 있습니다. 리콤에서는 신규 컨버터를 빠르고 간단하게 테스트할수 있도록 평가 보드를 공급하고 있습니다.
