Compact AC/DCs feature 40W to 1200W rating

The RACM18-ER comes in a potted IP68-certified, waterproof encapsulation to fit into flush mount wall installations. A single output range of 5V to 24V is available, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C at full load and up to +80°C with derating. The module meets OVCII standards and is certified for operations up to 5000m altitude.

The RACM30-K/277 is available as a wired potted version, as a 1.5”x3” open frame, as a panel mount version with push-in terminals, or as a din rail version with push-in terminals. The module is certified to international standards of medical MOPP, household and industrial, OVCIII standards for an operating altitude of up to 5000m for use in a temperature range of -40°C to 90°C; it is one of the most versatile power supply in the low power range.

The RACM40-K has a 1.6” x 3” footprint as an open card with MolexTM connections or PCB Pins, or 1.8” x 3.2” as an encapsulated PCB-mount module. Operation is to 65°C at full load with convection cooling and 85°C with derating. A 2” x 3” version is available for legacy applications with a standard pin-out. A wide range of single outputs is available from 5V to 48V. The RACM40-K meets the more severe over-voltage category, OVCIII to 2000m, rendering it suitable for connecting directly to the AC distribution network in buildings, without further surge protection. Medical certification is valid to 5000m altitude. The device is insulation Class II.

The RACM60-K is available as a 2” x 3” chassis-mount part with MolexTM connections, or can be supplied with PCB-mount pins. The product operates to 55°C at full load with convection cooling and 85°C with derating. A 2” x 4” version is available for legacy applications with a standard pin-out. A wide range of single outputs is available from 5V to 48V. The RACM60-K meets the more severe over-voltage category, OVC III to 2000m, rendering it suitable for connecting directly to the AC distribution network in buildings, without further surge protection. The product meets IEC/EN 60601-1 medicals standards up to 4000m altitude. A variant of the product operates to 305VAC input for 277VAC nominal supplies. The device is insulation Class II.

The RACM90-K provides 90W of output and is LPS and OVCIII rated. It is available with an industry-standard 2”x4” footprint as an open frame or an enclosed version. This series is one of the most versatile on the market. It features a wide nominal input range from 100 to 240VAC, regulated output voltages from 12V to 48V, operation altitude up to 4000m, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 90°C with derating.

The cost-efficient RACM130E-K series provides up to 130W of output and is OVCIII rated. The module is available in an industry-standard 2”x4” footprint as an open frame or an enclosed version. A wide nominal input range from 100 to 240VAC, tightly regulated outputs from 12 to 48V, operation altitude up to 4000m, and a wide operating temperature range make it a perfect fit for cost-sensitive medical, industrial, and household applications.

The RACM230-G is a baseplate cooled fan-less AC/DC with 160W continuous rating (230W peak or with forced air) in a 4” x 2” open frame footprint or 4.1” x 2.4” with optional enclosure. Operating temperature is up to 80°C and altitude to 5000m. Additional safety certification includes standard IEC/EC 61558-1. Single output voltages available are 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V and 54V. A smart 12V fan output is also provided.

The RACM550-G is baseplate cooled with 300W continuous rating (550W peak or with forced air). Footprint is 5” x 3” open frame or 5.9” x 3.4” with its optional enclosure. Single output voltages are available 24V, 36V, 48V and 56V. In this model, a smart 12V fan output is provided along with a 5V/1A standby supply. Remote sensing and on/off control is included.

The RACM600-L AC/DC is rated at 400/450W (115/230VAC) continuous in natural convection but with 600W available peak or continuous with airflow. Footprint is 7.7” x 4” x 1.6” height. A single output 24V is currently available. Medical and IT/AV certifications to operation at 3000m/5000m altitude respectively, along with a wide input operating range from 80-275VAC make the product ideal for global applications in all industries. The fan-less product is ideal for high reliability/availability applications with active current sharing featured for extra power or redundancy. Remote sensing is included, along with on/off control, power good signal and a 5V/0.5A standby rail. A PMBusTM interface is also included for remote control and monitoring.

The RACM1200-V is a baseplate cooled, enclosed, 1kW fan-less AC/DC with 1200W available as peak power (10 seconds) or continuous with forced air. Footprint is a class-leading 9” x 3.8”. Single outputs of 24V, 36V and 48V with wide adjustment ranges are available, along with a 5V/1A standby rail and an adjustable 12V system fan output. Comprehensive control and monitoring functions are available via connector and alternatively by a PMBusTM connection, depending on variant. Signals available are AC-OK, PSU-GOOD, Remote Sense, ON/OFF and FAN adjust. The RACM1200-V has a constant current overload characteristic, useful for loads with high inrush current. Medical certification to ANSI/AAMI/EN 60601-1 is valid to 4000m altitude.
