New ‘Ready to Use’ Additions to RMOD Range of DC/DCs for Mobility Applications

New models in the RECOM RMOD range of DC/DCs for mobility applications are now available. With 400W output power, the RMOD400-28-13SW suits 24V, 28V, or 36V input nominals with an input range of 16.8V to 56V and has a 13V output. The RMOD400-60-24SW has a 24V output and suits 48V, 60V, and 80V nominal inputs with its 33.6V to 96V (125V peak) input range and the RMOD-80-13SEW features an extra-wide continuous input range of 33.6V to 125V with 13V output.
The RMOD400 series operates at high efficiency and is intended for fan-less, baseplate cooling with chassis mounting. Isolation is 2.5kVDC with safety certification to standards IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 and size is a compact 115 x 203 x 61mm overall including mounting flanges.
All parts are IP69K rated for dust and water protection making them ideal for mounting in unprotected areas in mobility applications such as railways, buggies, and industrial material handling equipment. Ruggedness is assured by compliance with EN 60068 for resistance to temperature cycling, shock and endurance, humidity/heat cycling, vibration, mechanical shock, and salt spray.
