RVP Series Transformer Driver ICs

RECOM power RVP series transformer driver IC's are built with these challenges in mind. They're optimized for compact, isolated, low power supplies supporting input voltages from 2.8 at 8 to 30 volts and delivering up to 10 watts of output power.

With thermally enhanced space-saving packages and minimal external components required, they make integration straightforward. The RVP series offers options for both fullbridge and pushpull topologies, combining low onresistance switches with accurate drive signal generation.

Adaptive brake before make control helps prevent cross conduction and avoids issues like core saturation. These driver IC's come in compact 2x2 DFN, SOT23 or ESOP packages and operate reliably from -40 to positive 125° C, making them well suited for tough industrial environments.

The RECOM industry standard 6501 type IC for isolated DC/DC solutions offers up to 100% more power, full short circuit, overload and over temperature protection, needs fewer peripheral components and uses adaptive timing to eliminate the problem of core saturation. All at less cost.
