37 RECOM Power Designs are now available on the CELUS Design Platform, providing engineers with validated power supply solutions from the system architecture stage onward.
RECOM and CELUS have joined forces to simplify the selection of power supply solutions at an early stage of hardware development. As part of the partnership, 37 RECOM Power Designs have been integrated into the CELUS Design Platform as digital CUBOs. Engineers can now evaluate suitable power supply solutions during the system architecture phase and incorporate them into their designs.
Power supply design is a fundamental decision in hardware development. Requirements such as input voltage, output voltage, isolation, and efficiency influence numerous other components within a system. Addressing these aspects too late can lead to extensive design changes. By integrating RECOM Power Designs, engineers gain access to validated reference designs from the beginning of their projects, enabling them to select suitable solutions at an early stage.
The first 37 CUBOs are based on RECOM power ICs for isolated and non-isolated DC/DC conversion, as well as selected R-78 switching regulators and RAC AC/DC converters. In addition to technical specifications, they include schematic information, bills of materials, and practical implementation guidance, helping engineers move from system requirements to a completed hardware design.
“Increasingly, engineers begin their projects in digital design environments, long before individual components are selected. Through our partnership with CELUS, our Power Designs are available exactly where fundamental architecture decisions are made. This enables engineers to evaluate RECOM solutions early and move more quickly toward a robust hardware design,” says Konrad Berger, Head of Global Marketing at RECOM.
