RECOM @ Elektronikpraxis Gala Evening

150 guests attended ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS’ annual gala evening in February 2019 at the Kesselhaus in Munich. RECOM was proud to be honored with the prestigious "Milestones of Electronics" award as a pioneer company in the category DC/DC-Converters.
For technological achievements and entrepreneurial merits in their respective fields , the editors of ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS honored the pioneers of electronics and their companies. Joining the ranks of the 21 winners of 2017, eight additional companies have been awarded. Johann Wiesböck, editor-in-chief of ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS: "We honor the founders of these companies as pioneers of electronics with the ‘Milestones of Electronics’ award - the electronics Oscar for their lifetime achievement. Two main criteria were decisive for the selection of the winners: firstly, outstanding inventions and developments in their field of expertise and secondly the current market significance in their respective market segment."
Karsten Bier, CEO of RECOM stated “This evening is a wonderful event; I enjoy it to the fullest. It is something quite different in the electronics industry, as one is usually rewarded for accomplishments that happen in the here and now. But this award comes from the past with a lot of history and a lot of emotions and adventures we have experienced with a lot of sweat and courage. I enjoy very much to be able to share that with one another and above all with my father, who is the pioneer of the DC/DC converter.”
