The RCD series is a step-down constant current source designed for driving high power white LEDs. Standard output currents available are 300mA, 350mA, 500mA, 600mA, 700mA, 1000mA and 1200mA to make this driver compatible with a wide range of LEDs applications. Despite its compact size, the RCD series is fully featured with very high efficiency, wide input voltage range, high ambient operating temperature and two means of dimming: PWM/digital control and analogue voltage dimming. Both dimming controls are independent and can be combined. The driver is also designed to be as reliable as the LEDs it is driving, even at the full operating temperature. Options include an IP67-rated wired version (/W) and a version with built-in reference output voltage (/Vref) to power sensors or for easy analogue dimming.

    Der PWM-Steuerstift kann auch als Fernbedienungsstift verwendet werden. Dies bedeutet, dass Sie das Gerät über diesen Pin ein- und ausschalten können. Der Schaltpegel ist TTL-kompatibel und hat eine Hysterese, um langsame Schaltwellenformen zu ermöglichen.
    Die RCD-24-Serie ist ein Tiefsetzsteller. Sie benötigen immer eine höhere Eingangsspannung als die benötigte Ausgangsspannung. Eine Hochleistungs-LED hat normalerweise einen Vorwärtsspannungsabfall von etwa 3,4 V, so dass nur drei LEDs in Reihe von einer 12-V-Quelle betrieben werden können.     Es ist jedoch möglich, LED-Ketten parallel zu schalten, sodass ein RCD-24-7.0 zwei Ketten von drei 350-mA-LEDs antreiben kann, die parallel geschaltet sind.
    Denken Sie daran, dass es sich bei diesem Teil um einen Konstantstromwandler handelt. Die Ausgangsspannung ist abhängig von der benötigten Leistung, liegt jedoch immer unter der Eingangsspannung.
    Die RCD-Serie ist eine All-in-One-Lösung in einem kleinen Gehäuse mit hohem Wirkungsgrad, großem Eingangsbereich, zwei verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zum Dimmen von Analog und Digital (PWM), hohem Betriebstemperaturbereich und vollständig getestet.     Die Linearität außerhalb des Bereichs von 10 ~ 90 % des PWM-Dimmens ist nicht perfekt, aber immer noch ziemlich gut. Das analoge Dimmen kann in einem Bereich von 0 bis 100 % verwendet werden.
    Die analoge Spannung wird zur Steuerung eines internen PWM-Schaltkreises verwendet.
