High-Performance K series DC/DCs Give up to 30W in 1” x 1” Packages

Our latest generation, cost-effective, high-performance “K” series pinned DC/DCs now pack a more powerful punch with up to 30W rating and wide input ranges in a miniature 1” x 1” package just 0.4” high (25.4 x 25.4 x 10.2mm).

Available with 10W, 20W, and 30W output, the REC10K, REC20K, and REC30K parts have 4:1, 9-36V, and 18-75VDC inputs and a wide selection of tightly regulated outputs: 3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 24V, +/-5V, +/-12V, +/-15V, and +/-24V (REC10K only). Additionally, the REC30K has an option for a 2:1, 36-75VDC input with increased efficiency. Single outputs can be trimmed +/-10% and an on/off control is provided.

Isolation is ‘functional’ grade 2kVDC/1 minute (1.6kVDC/1 minute for the REC10K) according to IEC/EN/UL62368-1, and the parts operate from -40°C to +105°C ambient with derating, (100°C for the REC10K). External filters as shown in the data sheets enable compliance with conducted EMC ‘Class A and B’ levels.

Comprehensive protection against input undervoltage, output over-current, over-voltage, and short circuits is included, and the parts boast high MTBF figures – up to 1.5MHrs at 25°C according to MILHBK-217-F. The parts are ideal for applications where cost and high power density are priorities without compromise in performance or reliability. Typical uses are in building/home automation, datacom/telecom, energy systems, industrial automation, and test and measurement.
